At Maroone Ford of Fort Lauderdale, Jim Voigt has been proving that it’s not a myth at all. Kind, helpful and honest people exist in the car industry and we’re proud to have him as a part of the AutoNation family.
Recently, a customer who visited the showroom looking for a used vehicle left after four hours, unable to find the vehicle in stock at Jim’s store. Undaunted, Jim spent hours that evening online and on the phone locating the particular car for the customer. After finding the vehicle at another dealership, Jim set up an appointment for the customer. In less than an hour at the competition’s store, the customer left happy behind the wheel of the car. Jim’s understanding of maintaining customers for life is exemplified by his willingness to help this person get exactly what they came in looking for – even if that meant purchasing the vehicle at another dealership.
Another customer shared with us her purchasing experience with Jim: The car she was buying had all the bells and whistles. Jim’s knowledge of the product and his patience were extraordinary. He went as far as visiting her at home to make sure she understood how to use her new navigation system.
